“Following a period of personal loss and challenges, the Artist was forced to rethink and re-evaluate her position and the various roles that she occupied. The psychological and physiological changes that occurred inspired her to start this body of work.

The Things We Don't Say, acrylic on canvas, 100 x 150cms

There are references and symbols within the work that allude to the changeable qualities within us, the idea of metamorphosis and the potential transformation of the internal and external human landscape.

Hey Fashion A-list Just back to briefly fill you all in on ss20 Christopher Kane
show at LFW finale..

So Christopher's runway show was packed full of seasonal brights
a surprisingly nice peachy twist to one of the ending Designer runway show
presentations wrapping-up towards the end of the usual fast-paced glitterati week

His designs featured bold but smooth fastenings and later delited us all by leading into even bolder prints!

Beautiful soft silks shimmered down the runway catching every bit of light in sight..
un-exscaping the array of tog's shutters
click.. click.. clicking.. before they missed a gleaming moment of dazzling combination of strong shapes and silhouettes as the Models shone down burberry's runway.

Hair was slick and un-flicked.. just as smooth as some of the mats that mr kane had
selected himself and accs were equally as bold and shiny..

Yes burberry has delivered exceptionally once again.

From A Structural Fashion Genius..to Another World of Creative Archi Structural Mastery..

..WOODS BAGOT
London Architects

As I explored on through london's creative soho region whilst still
immeasurably inspired by the Designer Chalayan as I stumbled upon one
of the most uniquely styled architect's that I have come across in quite some time... woods bagot.
Tucked away in the heart of soho london,
this London architecture firm's design-style and silhouette very similar to that of the Designer Hussein Chalayan.

As I spent time meeting them, I thought on about
the link between this designer's design-style and
Woods Bagot design firm's strong shapes and whilst currently focused on the designer project,
had pleasantly concluded on my departure;
the strong comparisons that can exist between a Fashion Designers work style and architecture industry and looking at the link between the two.

Woods Bagot is A People Architecture Company
placing human experiences at the epicenter of their design process.

With much thanks to James Taylor at Woods Bagot Design

HUSSEIN CHALAYAN

© 2018 Hussain Chalayan

Whilst at LCF I'd learned about Fashion Designer Chalayan
but for me it was a much more personal experience than simply just wanting to aid him in his work.

The Designer's Acclaims

I think that possibly Hussain's biggest awards to date would be in 1995 his Absolut Fashion Award for his innovative structural design efforts, which led him to twice be named British Designer of the Year
